I ordered a piece as a birthday gift, it just didn’t feel like something you’d be excited to hand over. The packaging was plain, and the item itself looked more delicate than I expected, so I felt a little awkward about giving it. For the price, I think most customers would probably expect the whole thing to feel a bit more special. I ended up grabbing something else last minute, and I don’t think I’d use this site again if I needed a gift.

I was a little disappointed when I saw them in person. The designs felt plain, and some of the details looked kind of awkward up close. They just didn’t have the style or finish I was hoping for. Personally, I don’t think I’d buy these again.

The box showed up crushed, which was really disappointing. The wording made it seem like the item would be packaged securely, but it definitely didn’t feel that way. It came across as careless.

"Looks great, but the clasp definitely didn’t hold up"
I absolutely loved how this looked at first, no question about it. It had the style I wanted and felt perfect for a while. But after a few months, the clasp got loose, and I’m 100% sure it should’ve held up better than that. For the look, it’s great, but the durability just wasn’t quite there for me.

I was disappointed with the customization options. I thought I’d be able to make it feel a bit more personal, but the choices were really limited and the ordering process wasn’t very clear either. For the price, I expected way more flexibility. Whoever runs this really needs to make the options clearer because I ended up feeling like I paid extra and still didn’t get something that felt like what I wanted.

"Shipping took way too long"
I ordered from sarahandsebastian expecting it to arrive in a normal timeframe, but wow... the shipping was seriously slow. The tracking barely updated, so I kept checking for days and still had no real idea where it was?? It finally showed up much later than expected, which was especially frustrating because it was supposed to be a gift. The item was fine, but the delivery experience really wasn’t great...

"Nice staff, but the wait was exactly what I expected"
The staff were friendly enough once I finally got to speak to someone, but I had to wait ages in the store just to ask a simple question. i kind of expected it to be slow, and this pretty much confirmed what I already thought. Nice people, but the whole experience felt unnecessarily drawn out.

"Exchange took way longer than it should have"
I tried to exchange a ring, and the whole thing ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. I wasn’t even trying to do anything complicated, just swap it out, but it took ages to hear back from anyone. I kept checking my email because I figured maybe I’d missed a response or something, but no, it was just really slow. Then once the return process actually got going, it felt unnecessarily annoying, with extra steps and waiting around that made the whole experience feel like a hassle. I get that returns and exchanges can take a little time, but this felt dragged out for something that should have been straightforward

"Nice piece, but a bit pricey for what it is"
I bought a small piece from Sarah & Sebastian and yeah, it does look nice. No real issues with the quality or anything like that. I just think, for the price, I was expecting it to feel a little more substantial, maybe with a bit more detail. The packaging was fine too, nothing wrong there. Overall, it’s not bad at all, I’m just not totally convinced it’s the best value for money.

"Warranty was basically useless"
My bracelet broke way sooner than it should have, so I figured the warranty would take care of it without much hassle. Nope. The whole repair process was slow, annoying, and the emails took forever to get a response.
By the end of it, I still had to pay more than I expected, which made me think, what a joke. For what they charge, I really expected better customer service. Definitely won’t be buying from them again.

"I’m not happy with how my piercing..."
I’m not happy with how my piercing went. It hurt way more than I expected, and what bothered me most was that the staff didn’t really seem concerned or willing to check in on me. I understand piercings can be painful, but I think customers should be treated with more care and the staff should take some accountability when someone is clearly uncomfortable.

For a fine jewellery brand, I expected clearer details about where the materials come from, how workers are treated, and some actual proof around sustainability.
